CLINICAL POSTING SO FAR.
Hi everyone, Easter is tomorrow and I’m excited about it. I'm feeling a bit sad that I couldn't go home, but hey, Happy Easter! In my last post, I said I would write about my clinical posting, so here it is. My first clinical posting began on the 17th of March. The class was divided into two groups, which were Medicine and Surgery. I was in the first group, which was Medicine. Honestly, I was more anxious than excited to begin because now, it was not just about theory anymore. It now includes actual interactions with patients, practising physical examination, getting to meet patients who would love to talk to you and those who wouldn’t, and presentations to your consultant while he corrects you a million times about how your presentation should be, not to mention the long hours of standing and listening to bedside teachings, trying to jot down the numerous information you should know.
